[backdated] [video - locked from Glee Cast minus Kurt and Santana]

[The scene takes place right before Kurt's last post, in Lima's gay bar, Scandals. You can see Kurt sitting at the bar, watching Blaine dancing with another guy and looking strained. On the stool next to him, someone wearing a denim cap sits down.]

Better watch your boyfriend.

[It's Dave, looking a lot more relaxed than usual. He nods at the bartender.] Can I get another beer, please?

[Kurt looks at him for a moment, surprised, then chuckles.]

So...how's life at your new school?

It's fine. [Karofsky smiles, though there's an awkward pause where it fades off his face.] You know, I just want a normal senior year and play football without my teammates hearing rumors about me.

[Kurt nods, looking serious.] Just so you know, I never would have told anyone. It's not who I am.

[He turns to look back at Blaine, who's still dancing obliviously, before turning back to Dave.] So, you come here all the time?

[Dave grins a little.] People like me here. I feel accepted. [He chuckles and then adds:] I'm what they call a 'bear cub'.

Because you look like Yogi?

[Dave laughs.] I don't know, because I'm burly, or something?

[Kurt nods and looks away, and Dave's grin fades away again.] So, what, is this the point where you judge me?

[Kurt shakes his head.] No. As long as you're not beating people up...I'm all for being who you have to be at your own speed.

[Dave nods, calming down. Kurt glances back at Blaine, who's still dancing. Dave glances back as well.] Well, right now I'm just trying to get through high school.

[He raises his beer, clinking it against Kurt's drink.] Here's to baby steps.

[Kurt clinks it back.] Baby steps.

[They both drink. Then Kurt looks back one more time at Blaine before rising and striding purposefully over to him, pushing between him and the other guy and starting to dance.]
