( Spoilers for Glee 3x13: Heart )

[The video clip is incredibly short.

It shows Karofsky sitting on the bleachers to McKinley's football field; the lights to the field are on but the stands are empty except for Karofsky and another guy, who is sitting next to him.

The guy isn't someone specific; his features are vague and indistinct. But he is clearly smiling while they both chat, seeming happy.

The video cuts out when Karofsky holds the guy's hand and squeezes it in his.]

So I kind of had to get a summer job. I've been working at the candy store in the Lima Mall.


Whoever decided that the Willy Wonka music needed to be played on the speakers on a loop deserves to be dragged into the streets and shot.


Also, next time any of you get candy anywhere? Good money says it was covered in flies or rat shit at some point. You're welcome.

Karofsky-kun, i-If your friends at school ever bring up that you were singing after class and laugh, remember that it was all a joke.  Do you really hate it that much?

Oh, and Vanille, Brera-niisan, and Sheryl-san, make sure Karofsky-kun has a good stay on Frontier, okay?

[Video shows Dave, sitting in his room on the edge of his mattress.

Across the room, staring at him, is a gigantic ox.

For a moment, neither of them say anything, until:]

Oh you have got to be kidding me.

[The video doesn't seem to be anything remarkable at first, just the sight of someone sitting on the bleachers of a football field. The strange part is that it's Karofsky, not dressed in his football uniform or wearing his football jacket; instead he's simply wearing a relatively nice button-down shirt and khakis.

No one else is on the field; Dave is holding a guitar, strumming and singing the words to Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls.]

[Despite the lyrics, he actually seems...genuinely content and happy, wearing a small smile as he sings, not really looking to see if anyone's paying attention. With his gaze lowered, it's almost difficult to see the gold tint to his eyes.]

I haaaaate Valentine's Day. Every year, it ends up the guy whose locker's below mine always makes out with his girlfriend for like an hour and half without breathing, so I can't get my stuff.

Also, the stupid red string on my wrist made about a half dozen people ask if I was wearing a bracelet.

God, this is a stupid holiday.

[ It's unintentional video post time! You see Karofsky at his locker; he shuts it and is about to walk away when Finn appears, dodging around some other students to get to where Karofsky is standing ]

Hey.

Hey. Congrats on the MVP.

Ah, thanks. It was a team effort. So, listen, uh... [ he looks a little unsure, hesitating before ploughing on] There’s no way the glee club’s gonna let you join permanently until you clear things up with Kurt, so I was thinking maybe we could go together to Dalton and apologize to him—

[ before he can finish, Karofsky interrupts, looking over his shoulder to make sure no one heard that ] Who said I wanna join the glee club permanently?

I just thought after this week and, and the way we won the game and the way you came out to dance...

What do you think? We all dance around together and win a football game and everything’s gonna change? Glee club’s gonna be cool and we’re all gonna sing hippy peace songs every morning?

Maybe? I don’t know, I...it’s a start.

No! Dude, it’s a finish. Okay, this is high school. People’s memories for good stuff last about as long as a Facebook status.

We’ve got a chance to really change things here!

I just won the Conference Championship. I’m on top, why would I wanna change things?

[ the video cuts out as Karofsky shakes his head and turns to leave, leaving Finn standing there looking disappointed ]

[ IC edit a few hours later: ] Uh. So I can't delete this? I don't even know why it got recorded in the first place. But boy am I glad it stopped when it did...

[Karofsky's in the same locker room where he kissed Kurt only a few days ago, putting away some things in his locker. A tall kid (Mike Chang) and a kid in a wheelchair (Artie) come up to him, both wearing their best glares.]

Stop picking on Kurt.

[Karofsky glances up, glaring.] You mind? I'm changing.

We're serious!

[Mike slams Karofsky's locker shut.] This is a warning.

Oh yeah?

From now on, you're gonna leave him alone.

[Karsofky sneers.] Look. If he wants to be a homo, that's up to him. But don't rub it in my face.

We're not asking you.

Yeah, we're done talking about this. [Mike moves in closer, so he's right up in Karofsky's face.] So just back off!

No, you back off! [And Karofsky shoves Mike, sending him flying and toppling Artie out of his wheelchair.]

Hey! [From behind, another guy in the locker room tackles Karofsky and the two of them get into a fistfight. Sam manages to knee Karofsky good before he shoves Karofsky up against a locker, but Karofsky punches him in the face and knocks him to the floor. Before he can lean in to punch him again, the football coach bursts in, yelling at them to break it up and shoving the two of them apart.]

[The video starts in the McKinley high school hallways, because the community seems to like those hallways a lot. Finn and Kurt are talking in front of Kurt’s looker about their parent’s engagement. Finn leaves and this happens:]

[Thankfully, and for once, Mr. Schuester (the glee club teacher) happens to be in the right place at the right moment and notices how terrified Kurt look. He comes to his aid and walks him to the principal’s office.]

[ooc. Replies come a few hours later~]

[Kurt is standing by his locker, watching his friend leave and walk down the hall when Karofsky grabs his shoulder from behind, roughly turning him around.]

"Question for you."

[He glances to make sure no one else is listening.]

"You tell anyone else how what happened? How y-" [He falters.] "You kissed me?"

[Kurt doesn't seem flustered.] "You kissed me, Karofsky. And I understand how hard this is for you to deal with, so no. I haven't told anyone."

[Dave's voice is low, threatening.] "Good. You keep it that way. Because if you do? I'm going to kill you."

[And with that, he brushes past Kurt, walking down the hall as though nothing happened.]

Okay, look, I know that video was posted yesterday of me and Kurt, and...


It's not. It's not what it looks like.

Because I'm not. I can't be...

...shit.

So, is there anyone on this thing that isn't a member of the Fruits and Fairies Brigade?
