I've got a question! Why do you think people should marry? I mean, shouldn't it be about love?

Most marriages tended to be arranged and the couple in mind didn't have an opinion to it. In most cases, these were arranged in advance. These marriages were a means to better the family and to keep the family going. A marriage centered around love was rarely heard of. Most couples tend to grow to love one another over time.

What about the couples who don't fall in love over time? What about the couples who hate eachother?

At the most they can do is learn to tolerate each other in an attempt to making the living arrangement manageable. I'm not saying it's the right thing, but this is from my own experience. I really don't know what it's like now for marriages.

Spira's been attacked and filled with violence for a thousand years because of a giant flying whale called Sin. Yuna, the girl I'm guarding, is a summoner who's going to beat Sin. Sin comes back every ten years, and Seymour, a Maester which apparently makes him important, is asking Yuna to marry him. He claims it would give Spira hope, but the only way to really give Spira hope is to beat Sin.
