Yes, save for the fact that her intended chased the two of them with a legion of knights for the sole purpose of killing the one she ran away with.

The princess and the one she ran away with were able to settle down for enough time to raise a family--four sons and a daughter.

But in time, the one the princess was supposed to marry did manage to kill the knight that stole his fiancee.

Because he was angry at being betrayed by his most loyal knight. And though he might have tried to forgive his knight, hatred and resentment are powerful things.
