Well, love is different for all humans. Some people feel it more intensely than others, and some don't feel it at all. Some people can love many people in their lives while others like me have only loved once. And I'm only going to talk about romantic love, not the sort people can feel for family or close friends.
It can be the scariest and most overwhelming emotion because it feels like every part of you wants to be with the person you love, or to look at them if you can't be with them, or hear their voice if you can't look at them. Not being able to be close to that person is painful, like part of you is missing and you'll never be whole again.
But if the one you love feels the same, it can be the best thing ever. Your heart feels like it's going to burst from happiness, the bad things in life don't matter quite as much, and every day is a blessing. You're still yourself, but a more intense and complete version of yourself. It's not a situation where 1+1=2; 1+1=3 with love. The sum is greater than its parts. In love, when it's good, the world overall is more beautiful because you're not along. You have someone who'll be there with you throughout everything that comes your way.
