[Almost immediately after, it cuts off. Again, several hours pass before Tidus replies. Daylight has ended and it's in the middle of night. He's sitting somewhere in Macalania woods, alone. He looks a little tired.]

It's all just one big cycle of death. Why-- why does everything have to revolve around people dying?! Summoners being sent to their death, people dying in hopes that there will be enough power to stop the deaths...

[He pauses, slumping and stares at the sky before asking as an afterthought.]

Sometimes that is just the way things work. No matter what, life is going to involve death. They are a pair as closely tied as night and day.

Having said that, I am hardly one to speak of the finality of death itself. But I don't think one can marry someone like that.

But that doesn't mean death should be the only solution! There has to be something that can be done.

It's probably not legal in most places and it'd be a pretty boring marriage depending on what level of dead.

We can get married, but I don't see why anyone would want to if they're not alive anymore.

With Seymour, it's always boring. But their marriage doesn't mean anything so technically it's not really a marriage!
