The first is a high bar to set. Can't attach strings to mice. Any pulling will be met with resistance. Reversal of the structure will also lead to complications within too little time. The set-up is much too close to the sun.

Second is simpler. Use the herb liquorice instead, in cases of treating respiratory and bowel-related problems. Abandon it, otherwise.
