I was going to make the extra effort to warn those in my universe about the frankly suspicious cupcake, which I could only assume had been delivered to my friends as part of the same ploy, when I discovered this website. As others seem to be having the same issue, it's clearly a generation of this website, as opposed to other sources.

It doesn't mean I'm going to eat it all the same. Mysterious confectionery is never a good sign, whether originating from the expected individual, or from any unannounced others.

As I've only recently discovered this community, I haven't had the opportunity to introduce myself yet. The name's Dirk Strider and I still had nothing to do with this, Jake. That was considering the chance that you're not feeling entirely convinced yet, though I'm sure you've stumbled ass-backwards into unthinking credulity by now. That's ok: it works in my favour in this case.

Incidentally, if any of you work out what the purpose of these cupcakes are, I wouldn't mind finding out myself.

At night, it's so people can't look through your window in at you.
At day, it's for the purposes of keeping your room dark, so you don't have to wake up the moment the sun rises.
They're movable, you realise.
I find it difficult to believe that trolls don't have any manner of window covering.

I presume this is some sort of geocultural difference.
Earth, my planet, orbits a yellow sun, which I believe is much tamer than your sun.
Either that, or we simply have a thicker ozone layer.
Either way, the sun poses only a mild burning risk that a UV resistant cream can generally prevent.
For that reason, humans are generally diurnal.
