In Japan, Valentine's Day is a day where girls give chocolate to boys. Then White Day is when boys return the gifts. If boys can't give chocolate to other boys on Valentine's Day, then no one is going to be able to give presents back on White Day because no one gave them in the first place.

Japanese Valentine's Day is discriminatory against gay couples! I'm on strike! I'm celebrating the American pseudo-holiday Singles Appreciation Day instead!

Thanks to the people who sent me SAD gifts!

Wouldn't Singles Appreciation Day be discriminatory against actual couples now?
potatochips: (Frankly my dear I don't give a damn)

Except for gay couples. They can't celebrate Valentine's Day, like you said, or Singles Appreciation Day because they're not single.

You're still discriminating.

But you can get chocolate if you're part of a couple. You'd have to give it to someone single to celebrate them.

Is it really that big of a deal to you?
