In Japan, Valentine's Day is a day where girls give chocolate to boys. Then White Day is when boys return the gifts. If boys can't give chocolate to other boys on Valentine's Day, then no one is going to be able to give presents back on White Day because no one gave them in the first place.
Japanese Valentine's Day is discriminatory against gay couples! I'm on strike! I'm celebrating the American pseudo-holiday Singles Appreciation Day instead!
Thanks to the people who sent me SAD gifts!
{{ooc: FYI, Harumi didn't get a cupcake, no virus lovin' from her. Sorry guys! }}

So really, it's more discriminatory against guys at all since they aren't supposed to give any chocolates by their own will and they're frowned upon if they don't do more for the girls than they received!

I agree with your analysis, though.
Although, I feel like Candy Hearts and Chocolate Appreciation Day might be somewhat more inclusive.
If we're constructing a new holiday, there's no reason to exclude couples, just on account of them already having a holiday.

It shouldn't be too hard to initialize it, either, considering that it represents almost tripled sales for greeting card and various candy companies.
