[ the video starts, showing McKinley High's choir room. It's hard to tell where the video is coming from; it's clearly not someone recording this deliberately since it comes in halfway through a conversation.

Finn is standing at the front beside a whiteboard with some diagrams on it.

He's also holding a ruler, which is currently pointing at the stick figure labelled 'Blaine' ]

--not a bear, it's a bush! Geez, what is it with you guys? [ although his audience is out of shot, there's a low murmur that suggests they're somewhere behind the recording device, heckling Finn's artistic skills (or lack thereof) ] Anyway, can I please finish telling you my plan? Okay, birthday breakfast should finish around nine thirty, we'll wash up and get ready and head outside, with Sam thinking we're all heading over to Puck's for a video game marathon. [ he motions towards the signpost in the picture ]

But! Blaine and Artie will be hiding behind the bushes, [ he shoots a Look towards the audience ] and it'll be like, surprise! They're coming too! Kurt, Artie's with us 'cause his chair'll fit in your car more easily.

So, we start driving, [ he points at the car in part two of the diagram ] and try and keep Sam distracted. It only takes about a half hour to get to Lakeview but obviously he's gonna realize something's up since Puck only lives a few blocks away. [ he shrugs ] I couldn't think of a way around that but whatever. Anyway, we'll get to the Indian Lake place around ten thirty, and Puck, Mike, Jesse, Rory, and Joe [ he points at each stick figure representative individually ] will already be there - Jesse can give you all a ride since he has to drive up from Akron anyway. And then we have paintballing fun all day, and afterwards we can eat the cakes my mom made. [ he plants his hands on his hips, grinning at everyone in the room ] What do you think?

[ Finn did at least look guilty, glancing at Sam's hands to make sure he was okay ] Oh...sorry, man.

No harm done. [He shrugged at Finn, but his guilty look made Sam suspicious.] So what's the deal with the laptop? Were you looking at porn or something? It's okay, I won't tell anyone.

[ Finn cleared his throat, trying to subtley edge the laptop away from Sam ] Uh... [ he didn't really want to agree to that but he really couldn't think of a better excuse ] Yeah... I think I forgot to close the tab when I was...done. [ he flushed, realizing how bad that sounded ]

[Sam tried reeeeally hard not to give Finn a judging look. He thought it was weird that Finn was looking at porn when he had Rachel and Jesse though.] It's cool... I'll just close the tab if it's still there and then check my e-mail. [He moved the laptop back over to him and tried opening it again.]

[ oh like you never watch porn too, Sam :T ] You can't! [ Finn pushed the lid shut again, this time being more careful of Sam's fingers, and kept his hand on top of it so Sam couldn't open it ] I mean... Didn't you just check your email before school this morning? There probably won't be anything new...

[...okay he might have looked at some whilst dating Quinn but that was only because she didn't put out :|] I feel like you're implying that no one ever emails me and I should be offended by that.

[ Finn forced a laugh, clapping Sam on the shoulder ] Nah dude, you know I didn't mean it like that.

You're acting weird... What's going on? Did I forget to log out of my Facebook? You didn't write some stupid status on my account, did you?

[ damn, why hadn't he thought of that?? ] No, but thanks for the idea.

[ he looked around his room, casting about for inspiration for an excuse to get Sam away from the computer, but none was forthcoming ]

...Damn it.

[Giving up on getting Finn's laptop, he stands up.] If you're not gonna lend me your laptop, I'll just borrow Kurt's.

[ Finn jumped up too, starting to reach out one hand to grab Sam's sleeve before seemingly thinking better of it ] Dude, Kurt doesn't let people touch his laptop. Anyway... what's the big deal, I thought we were gonna watch movies and stuff? [ it was a lame excuse, but he was really struggling to think of anything better ]

We were? [Now Sam felt bad since apparently they'd made plans but he must have forgotten.] Sorry man, it must have slipped my mind... [No longer did he care about checking his e-mail, lucky for Finn.] Can we watch Batman? I think my Christian Bale impersonation is getting rusty.

[ Finn blinked, amazed Sam gave in so easily. Grinning, he played along, clapping Sam on the shoulder ] No problem, we've all had a lot on our minds lately. We can totally watch Batman. [ he'd sit through whatever movies Sam wanted to watch provided it kept him away from the internet ]
