It does seem strange. They can't really expect you to know about that when they don't know either.

Well, we have parties, but I've never been to a prom. I've spent my entire life studying and now I'm still doing that, but in environment where its hard to have a fancy dance like that.

You really need to get out and have fun once or twice. Why is that hard in your environment? Are you and Amish?

It is. It's a shame that they want to do that.

I'd like to. Well... I work in space. I'm sure it still could be arranged, but I guess it just isn't thought of because it would be difficult to get everything that was needed for it.

I'm used to it, but it doesn't mean I will put up with it.

Watch out for possible aliens then, those are nasty. It msut be cool to live there, though. That, miss, is what worldhops are for.

Oh, I've been keeping watch but I haven't seen any aliens yet. It is nice. It's possible to go to Earth from here. It's just studies make it more difficult. I've talked to someone who has been to other worlds and I would like to visit others.

No aliens is always a good sign. You really should try it, I've seen some amazing places thanks t this community. Why do you live in space, however? Earth got boring.

Of course. You are allowed to be annoyed that they aren't listening to you.

It is. Oh really? Where have you been? I'm a mechanic and there a lot of good jobs and learning opportunities in space. It's different than mechanic jobs on Earth.

Oh, that's interesting. [She blinks at the next part] Death Star? I've never heard of that. We are working on small machines needed to help maintain what's already in space.

You never saw Stark Wars? It's a classic cult movie, all the geeks love it. Specially Jake.

No... I don't think I have. I've never heard of that. I wonder if we have that movie in my world.

You should ask a boy names Jake, he's in this comm. I'm sure he has all the movies. [And toys, and posters...]What's your world called?

I'll have to ask him if I see him around. It might be interesting to see.

Well, its called Earth, but it seems to be different from other ones I've heard about.

He has black hair, wear glasses and dresses in green often. He's a teenager too.

Wow, that's really far away from me. How are things there?

[She chuckles] Well, I work on a base out in space. On the base, its kind of like working in a factory except you also live there and everything around you is just space. But there are also places civilians can go, like the stations on top of the orbital elevators.

[sexbastian]

And there are alien races in that base too?

No, its just humans. At least everyone looks like humans.
