Oh man, I just got back from a mission, and it looks like I missed an awesome virus. Do any of you guys still have your sailor uniforms? Can I try one on?

Even if I didn't get hit, maybe I could have tagged along anyways.

Which makes me wonder...

Is it possible to fake a virus?

If you're a decent enough actor and have other necessities like props and such, I'd expect so.

Because it might be fun! Hanging out with a bunch of friends, fighting monsters and saving the day - its like a video game or something.

Couldn't you accomplish that without the need to pretend you're under the influence of a virus? Just say you feel like doing those things.

I suppose so. But my world doesn't need saving all that often. Ditto for other people's worlds.

That's part of it. But my job has plenty of danger - its nice that viruses ensure that people don't die or get too badly injured. It'd be like a vacation!
