Dad! Not now, I'm in my underwear! [ And then Christie leans forward, keeping the blanket up to her neck, a joyous smirk on her lips. ]

Which I hate. Why you can't just sleep in the nude like me, I'll never know.

[ The big guy, Bass, just stares dumbfoundedly. ] Oh my god.

[ Tina shakes her head and thumb-points to Christie. ] No, Dad, she's just another fighter. [ Christie's nodding teasingly. ] We're just sleeping together.

Yeah I can see that.

No, I mean, we're-- [ Christie's looking at Tina all innocently. ] We're not sleeping together, we're just-- sleeping.

Seems to me like my baby-girl's found herself a special friend. [ Christie smiles and lays her head against Tina's shoulder, to which Tina looks at her like whatthefuck and shrugs her off. ] We'll settle this tomorrow, sweetie. Nice to meet you, Miss. [ Bass turns to go with a wave. ]

Oh, it's Christie. [ She nods with a smile, obviously having to hold back some laughter, then Bass turns back and points at her excitedly. ]

Tina's real name is Christina! [ Christie gently caresses Tina's hair and Tina swats at her hand in irritation. ]

Dad! [ Bass waves again and leaves. Tina flops down on the bed and Christie starts getting comfortable again. ]

Thanks a lot, bitch.

Save your strength, sweetheart. Big day tomorrow fighting Daddy. [ Tina literally kicks Christie out of the bed, but Christie lands on knees and left hand with an oof. Totally not naked, just in black panties and a cami. ]
