Hey community.

[ This is Steve. This is Steve with an labrador retriever. He's drawing it and it's amusingly sitting there still enough to let him do it -- most of the time. It'll roll around or move closer when he looks down at the paper then try to stay still when he looks up-- like a hilarious game of red-light-green-light. He smiles at it. ]

I thought a dog followed me home, which is silly I guess. There aren't exactly stray dogs around anymore. Guess they solved that problem. But the community looks like it gave out pets for a virus, huh? That's fun. I always thought it'd be nice to have one but never could between allergies and the buildings not allowing it. This guy's great.

[ he pauses, looking up and the dog freezes. hahaha. he looks back down ]

Anyway, I guess I was worried about-- curious about-
It's a virus so you don't get to keep them, do you?

I can't say I've met many before, but.. they always seemed like pretty nice dogs. [ just like steve is, really. ] And you sure seem to like him a lot already, huh?

I got kind of attached, yeah. I love dogs, really.

You did seem like a dog pers--

[ ah, getting cut off by her own pet here.. there's some really loud barking (or, well, it's really high barking that it's more like yapping) from off-screen. ]

You have one too, Ange? [ leaning to the side as if... that would help him see around her and see the dog somehow. steve that's not how video works why do people do this ]

[ Steve, you really need technology 101.. but at least she seems to get what he's doing, so she picks the puppy off the floor, holding it up to show it. Tiny puppy! Tiny enthusiastic puppy, since it's eagerly barking and wagging its tail at the sight of Steve too. ]

Hi puppy. [ IT'S SO SMALL. IT WOULD LOOK LIKE A TOY IF STEVE HELD IT... ]

[denies]

[ The puppy barks eagerly! This guy seems much nicer than his own linefaced owner-- although he apparently likes Ange too, since he quickly tries to wriggle his way out of her hands to go lick her face instead-- ]

U.. ugh, quit it already..! You don't feel like having another dog, I assume? [ DON'T PAWN IT OFF TO OTHERS, ANGE.. ]

[ He's grinning. Oh Ange. ]

I'd take him off your hands but I'm not sure the community would let me.

Of course. [ the realisation settles in for her with that, even if it makes her sound only a little more pouty-grumpy. ]

That would just make it too easy, huh? Giving the pets to people who can actually handle them..
