[ Ah, Starbucks. Open until about 1AM, it's a great place to work and be fueled on caffeine while working. Maybe you're here for a study group, maybe you just want to be out of the dorm while working, maybe there was a fire alarm and instead of standing out in the cold you decided to go here, maybe you want to annoy your friends while they try to study, or maybe you just want to try the latest holiday blend! Whatever you're here for, this is a nice place to look smart and productive while indulging in your favorite hot drink. ]

[Denzel is walking over towards Rose's table. His hands full of books, psychology (the textbook plus a few books checked out), calculus and a notebook. His mullet bounces with his walk. Placing the books on the table so he can see. Pulls out a daisy and starts handing that towards Rose]

~Hello~ [Eyebrow raise]

[Pause and blink] Friend of yours?

[didiscareyouyet]

[He'll stand up and offer out his hand.]

Hi, I'm Raenef! Rose tutors me sometimes.

[grimlight]

It's not that I don't believe you. It's that I'm making sure.

[And before she can elaborate - not that she was likely to anyway - Denzel has joined them. She accepts the offered daisy with her usual small smile]

Yes. Apparently there are things even freshmen can tutor in.

[Because what's a little good-natured teasing between friends?]

[Denzel accepts the handshake with a grin] Denzel Crocker.

Well, I'm not surpised. [Shouting Rose a smile] She is rather sophisticated. Why I like her. [Or one reason anyways]

[Beat] I'm going to get a cup of coffee. Don't suppose either of you want anything?

I was going to get her a cookie so I can get it. Do you want one?

[A friend, or more, of Rose's is a friend of hers. No, really, he has A LOT of questions later.]

[grimlight]

And here I thought it was my good looks and natural wit.

[She's joking. She'll take being considered sophisticated as quite the compliment, particularly given the reputation her sister has.

Though she doesn't comment on it, Raenef's overly-helpful approach is being noted. Probably best she lets Jade know she'll be late home tonight...]

No, thanks but I'll take a cup of coffee, black. [He has no caffeine addiction none at all]

[He knows she is and at Rose's remark, he goes nuzzle her for that remark]

[Raenef will leave you two alone. Denzel and Rose, sitting in a tree, k-i..

Oh, look, he's back, badly balancing their stuff. Coffee for Denzel, cookie and coffee for Rose, and a drink for himself.]

Oh... are you two busy?

[grimlight]

[Rose can't help but smile at that nuzzle. She's not overly fond of public displays of affection but from him, she can accept the more subtle ones.

This time, at least.

When Raenef returns, she looks up and moves just a slight distance away from Denzel. Just enough to be appropriate without dismissive (and boy had it taken some practice to get that balance right)]

It's okay. But please, don't allow us to keep you here.

[crackpotcrocker]

[When Raenef returns Denzel notices the balancing act and goes over to help] Let me get that. [Taking his drink and hers]

Just working on a few things. [Before glancing over at Rose and silently saying he doesn't mind Raenef joining them]
