Maybe you're here for a study group, maybe you just want to be out of the dorm while working, maybe there was a fire alarm and instead of standing out in the cold you decided to go here, maybe you want to annoy your friends while they try to study, or maybe you just want to try the latest holiday blend! Whatever you're here for, this is a nice place to look smart and productive while indulging in your favorite hot drink. ]

I have a dorm. Part of the experience of college is getting to room with somebody.

We shall host the party at my place, then. [ A nod. ] Since this is more for you to know that others would come and play than I, I suggest you issue out the invitation. [ And have a compliment: ] If it is you, I am sure others will certainly find their way over.

Whoever told you that is sorely mistaken. Hosting a party in a dorm room would not be good at all. To make this work, you would need a place without any RA's.

It's not like we'll be breaking things or destroying our dorm. It's important that it's there.

A dorm would be much too small, regulated, and informal. [ Decisively, royally: ] The party will be held at my apartment. I hope to see you there.

It's supposed to be informal! That's how college parties are! [Another drop in her voice.] People have parties there a lot.

H-how is it supposed to be my party if you hold it there and only hope I show up?!

An apartment party is informal. Very informal, in fact, but at the very least it will have much more space for more people to attend.

I shall have someone bring you there, of course.

You are correct in that. It will be better. If you are still insistent on having a party in a cramped dorm, you can certainly hold another one at a later date. How about that?
