[ Ah, Starbucks. Open until about 1AM, it's a great place to work and be fueled on caffeine while working. Maybe you're here for a study group, maybe you just want to be out of the dorm while working, maybe there was a fire alarm and instead of standing out in the cold you decided to go here, maybe you want to annoy your friends while they try to study, or maybe you just want to try the latest holiday blend! Whatever you're here for, this is a nice place to look smart and productive while indulging in your favorite hot drink. ]

Oh? Shouldn't be too hard, then. Just have to hit that middle ground, right? I mean, I guess a nuclear watch battery wouldn't be enough to run a coffee machine, but if they can get them that small it wouldn't be hard to get the right size.

[ Suddenly forgetting all about the coffee, she takes out and twirls her lab keys. ] Let's go then...!

[ And she will actually start walking out of the Starbucks. ]

H-hey, hold on a sec...! [He holds out a hand, though he doesn't make a particular effort to actually grab her.]

Weren't you going to get coffee for the professor?

Oh-- that's right. [ Gonna go back to her spot in line and order a coffee really quick. Luckily, a cup of starbuck's coffee is prepared in under a minute. ] Now we can go.

[And a minute is enough time for Jak's brain to catch up with events enough that he's ready to leave.]

All right, let's go, then!

[ Doop doop heading to the lab~ ] Unyu, if Professor Kanako is there, I'll introduce you!

[He doesn't see a whole lot of point to introducing them, but he's not going to say that to her.]

[ Aaaand soon enough, they're in the lab. Okuu opens the doors to it with a key. ] You'll have to wear these gloves and coat here, for protection. [ She hands him them, and puts them on herself. ] Unyu~ I wonder what I'll show you first!

Okay... [He slips them on easily.] Do I need goggles or something, too?

[He still can't help smiling at her enthusiasm. A vague, nagging memory in the back of his mind makes him wonder if she'd been acting any other way recently, but he dismissed it after a moment. Clearly it wasn't important right now.]

[ She thinks for a moment. ] Mm... no, I think we'll be fine. [ And into the lab they go! ]

Well, you're the expert, so I'll trust you on this one. [And he'll follow her in, hanging back behind her slightly just to make sure he doesn't brush up against anything delicate or dangerous.]
