I have been informed that is unfair to spend one of my Psychology classes playing nothing but Pink Floyd albums and not do the same for the rest. So, to my morning class tomorrow, please prepare to relax.

Of course, you will still have to analyze the Wall through the lens of Carl Jung's concept of individuation for homework. But during the class itself I encourage you to sing along to all the songs you know, and you will not be graded for pitch or accuracy.

That would be unfairly penalizing those who can't sing well in a non-music class. I could include bonus points for discussing how the music itself, besides the lyrics, emphasizes the psychology of the album.

At my harp lessons, I reward students who are talented at music.

At psychology class, I reward students who study and do the work. This, thankfully, isn't television.

Then you should at least stop the people that sing badly.
