So, I got the basic idea of this whole "christmas" thing. Like the presents and all that. But... [ He sighed. ] I guess you could say I wanna know more. It's not everyday you hear about a holiday from a different world. Like the story behind it, and all that.

Minatsuki said something about that too. It's more about just giving presents and stuff now. Kinda weird how it got that way, if it's part of a religion.

I guess people have just become less religious over time in general, so in that sense it's only natural. [ although she herself isn't particularly religious herself either. ]

And don't people just usually grab any excuse they can to throw a party?

Well, kinda, but there's always a reason for a party, you know? Without it, the party isn't special. It's not a big deal either way. All this talk about Christmas cake makes me want to try one now, though.

Oh, of course. It's so much effort just to order some food and try to get it to another world, maybe I'll accidentally stretch my wrist a little too far and strain it. Just imagine. [ All sarcasm, of course.. ]

Well, as long as I got the cake, I'll be okay. [ He said, with a bit of a joking smirk in response to the obvious sarcasm. ]

How cruel. You'd just let a poor girl be injured for your sake?

It'll heal fast, no worries, right?

You shouldn't be that quick to assume stuff like that. Maybe I have a special kind of illness that makes any injury to my body be permanent.

Ange, I don't think that's a real thing.

Who are you to assume? I mean, it's not like you could have predicted in advance that one day you'd run into a place where people from different worlds talk to each other either, right?

I still have my doubts. Seriously, I don't think someone with that kind of illness would be around for this long.

Maybe I'm just really careful.
