[The feed suddenly clicks on, the sudden sound of swords clashing against one another is all that is heard before the camera pans over to see the two warriors fighting. Only... there's something strange about one of them, the one that Link is fighting is in all black, entirely. In fact, the only color on the man are his eyes, they're completely red.

...The interesting thing here is that the other swordsman looks exactly like Link, just like his shadow.

Whenever Link went to slash at him their blades would bounce off one another, and then the young man would jump back and look at the other one with a cold gaze. He was surrounded by a haze, it looked like he was standing on water even, his tunic entirely blue, he was drenched from head to toe, the water dripping off him as he panting slightly.

How could he even beat this guy...? Already Link was covered in wounds, the blood had gone through his tunic and his blue fabric was now covered in red. He was... losing.

Link went for the guy again, he thrust his blade at him, but the shadow jumped up on it, balancing on the tip of the sword, the creature had no weight at all to it. It went towards Link, it's own blade piercing into his shoulder and Link let out a yell. He pulled his blade away from the shadow, stumbling back, clutching his wound.]

Dammit.... [he cursed under his breath, the blood passing through his hand as he holds his shoulder, completely covering his fingers now.

He was desperate, his hand moved from his shoulder and he clenched it in front of him. A light began to shine all around him just as the shadow went towards him again, and Link brought his hand towards his side, getting ready to use Din's Fire. He yelled again and brought his blood-stained hand towards the ground, and with it he unleashed some magic he had learned, the fire surrounded him and he blasted away the shadow.

The shadow stumbled, trying to get up and regain its own composure, but Link was too quick after that, he grabbed his sword and ran towards the creature, but the shadow brought its sword up at the same time. Link managed to hit it through, he brought his sword right through the chest of the beast, but the creature managed to stab him right into the side. The creature let out a gasp and it soon melted away, disappearing into the water all around him.

Ah... he won. Link was breathing heavily, the blood flowing from him and he soon stumbled, now down on his knees and looking at his crimson hands, his sword had fallen to the ground too.]

Hah.... N....Navi? Do we have anymore.... potions?

N-no, we're all out!

Ah I... could really use one.... [Link then collapsed to the ground, the water all around him turning color from the blood, but he just passed out.]

(ooc: replies will come from Link hours later. and tl;dr Link fights Dark Link and uses Din's Fire as a distraction before finishing it off and passing out.)

Yeah.... I'm fine. I don't know what that was, to be honest.

It was made to look just like me though.

[ .. God. Why is everyone around her so good at getting themselves into danger and then proceeding to get incredibly hurt?! She grits her teeth, trying to remain calm but it's not really easy like this. In fact, she practically completely fails at it, the worry audible in her tone. ]

[He's better now, still just scraped up though, but he grabbed some potions after finishing the temple.]

Yeah.... I'm better now, it was just a really hard battle.

...I'm fine, I almost didn't make it though, just passed out.

[thankfully, he's already been healed, just some scrapes left, so he's still bandaged.]

I think I'll be fine, I found a potion as soon as I got out.

Something tells me I should sneak you a rifle... but you'd probably run out of bullets at the rate you seem to fight at.

I've heard stories of a man who lost his shadow and when it returned, the shadow overcame and killed him. I'm relieved this doesn't seem to be the case.

...I'm really glad that wasn't the case with me here, yeah, this was just a creature in the temple.
