[The feed opens with Bowser holding the camera and standing in front of Princess Peach's bedroom door. Angry but dainty pounding and shouting can be heard from the other side of the door. Bowser looks for a few moments at the door, then turns slowly to the camera, stifling a laugh.]

You know... (snerk) ...sometimes I just can't help myself...

[Bowser facepalms and laughs loudly, more at the ridiculousness of his own psyche than out of any sort of malice:]

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-- [The video ends. Bowser signs into chat about fifteen minutes later.]

(causually) Eh, some mix of family tradition, impulsive behavior, and a power trip. (glances at the Star Rod)

Anyway, how are your legs?

Mmm my legs well... they've gone into remission so far but I need to get it checked up again.

[king_bowser]

(disappointed) Oh.

(examines the Star Rod) I thought this thing was stronger than that.

[She's accepting of anything really. It's how Hayate is.]

Hmm, maybe it's not able to fix everything?

[king_bowser]

(annoyed, still looking at the Star Rod, which now starts to glow a little; he doesn't seem to notice) But it's supposed to be! That's the point! It grants wishes!

Hmm that is weird. Maybe something is keeping it from making it work.

[king_bowser]

Hmm. Maybe.

[In the background, a solid-white, humanoid figure dashes by the camera's field of vision.]

Um, there was something in your castle a second ago...

[king_bowser]

(looks behind him) Eh?

(turning back) Must be Kammy Koopa gathering the laundry again.

[lil_tanuki]

Hmm, it was white. All white I think.

[king_bowser]

[Bowser fails his Intelligence check.]

Weird.

I didn't get a good look at it anyhow.

So, I heard you had a birthday?

Yeah I did. It was a couple of days ago.

[king_bowser]

Um... (strokes his chin for a moment, then raises the Star Rod) ... here.

[A five-inch-tall golden statue of Bowser appears on a surface near Hayate, along with a chocolate cupcake.]

Oh! Oh thank you very much! This is appreciated!

[king_bowser]

(eyes the Star Rod disappointedly) Those were supposed to be bigger...

(turning back to Hayate, smiling again) Glad you like 'em!
