Okay first my TV showed a duck and wouldn't go away so I unplugged it, next my cell phone wouldn't work due to the same duck showing on its screen so I had to turn it off, then I went outside and found that you asses posted a duck on any flat surface you could find, now I'm back on my phone and I want to know some things.

First: What is your fucking problem?
Second: How the hell are you doing this?

Lyle Dylandy. Pleasure.

So, you from another Earth?

California, yes, but this is my first time hearing of that charmingly-named little town.

2313, if you'll believe that. I think I'm one of the furthest people along timeline-wise.

Not much of an anime fan, sorry. Video games are more or less the same as they've ever been, really. You get your virtual reality-esque systems or the ones that project images into the room like a simulator, sure, but people get so nostalgic for old-style gaming that consoles with hand-held controls still sell pretty well too.

We have space travel too. Not much of it yet, but there's a few colonies dotted about in high orbit between Earth and the moon, places like that.

Not yet, but we haven't really got much further than the asteroid belt either.

Sci-fi also told us we'd have hoverboards and flying cars by the early 2000s, according to some history books I've read.

Everyone's money went into developing the solar power and orbital elevators instead, not to mention the mobile suits. Sorry to disappoint you.

'Fraid so. The dream of every old-school Transformers fan brought to life.
