Since most of you live in different worlds, I wanted to ask a question.

Do you have pirates?

Well we have Pirate Sentai. You could ask one of the pair really about it that are on the community.

Sentai? What are those?

Sentai is the Japanese term for "task force" roughly. They're usually a group of 3 to 5 people who can transform into heroes. Last year in my time there was a group called the Pirate Sentai Gokaiger.

If they're supposed to be heroes, then they wouldn't be pirates.

I'm sure there's some pirates in my world but I don't know any.

So I guess there's not a "Great Pirate Age" in your world.

You're right, there isn't. There's still piracy in the world, of course, but it's not as frequent as it once was.

The kind that rob sand steamers. They're really annoying but there's not too many of them.

But, we're heroic pirates! ...or at least, that's what I'm trying to get the others to be.

Well, I've heard about some space pirates, but I don't know if they're even around anymore. There was one that attacked my planet years ago, but I guess they're gone now?

Yeah, space is kind of a thing in my world.

We have a few. A friend of mine's taken to hunting them, mostly because bandits have gotten to be a bit of an endangered species around here.

I suppose just about anywhere with a large enough body of water will have pirates.

I guess that's true.

A bit like cockroaches, I suppose. Even if everybody could have anything they liked just by wishing for it, there would probably still be pirates.

... Then again, from what I've seen of people, if that was the case the world would be very different and most likely gone.
