I can believe it. I'm just surprised to have found it in a hand-mirror that was so carelessly left lying around.

The way people access differs too. Some use mirrors, others use books, but most people use computers.

What are computers?

They're a kind of machine that allow people to access a network of shared information and communication.

I don't know how to explain it well, I'm sorry. They're not common where I'm from.

We're always willing to help around here. Well, most of us, at least.

For the most part, it is. There are a few people who would rather be left alone, though.

Don't they have to merely not use their mirror or books then?

The community tends to intrude on people's personal lives if they don't answer enough. Events from their lives, personal calls, things like that.

How could it intrude?

[shiningwaters]

I'm not sure how it works, but it suddenly becomes available and records important things. For example, if someone ignored the community for a while and then went on a date, the community could suddenly start recording and broadcasting the date to everyone with access.

[His eyes flicker slightly as if this does bother him but he doesn't let it show too much otherwise.]

That sounds inconveniently like an invasion of privacy.

It is, which is why even the people who are bothered by the community the most make sure they post when they can.

Can't wards just be put up to stop it from coming through?

[shiningwaters]

I don't think it works that way. Though, it seems to have some boundaries. There haven't been things like someone's bathroom mirror broadcasting them. I think the community is somehow intelligent?

I'm sure that would be embarrassing for some.

So you're saying the dimension itself can... think for itself?

[shiningwaters]

No, the community connecting all of the dimensions. If it's created by magic or advanced technology or both, it's not impossible.

I'm sorry, but that's all I know.

This certainly wasn't what I was expecting to find tonight. I thought it was going to be quiet and rather boring, to be honest.
