Some youkai travel but most stay in areas that they think of as home. An old shrine, a certain tree, a grove of trees... even the streets of an old village. They have their habits just like humans.

Well, what I meant is that there's the demon world, Makai, and then there's the world where humans live in and it's hard to get back and forth, even though it's possible.
