What are the reasons someone might kidnap all the girls with the same name?

Apparently that's what's going on with 'Yuka's. It's not like Yuka is an uncommon name, either. My girlfriend has it, for one...

We're in Shinjuku now and learning a lot about the situation. What I'm most concerned with is that girls are disappearing, but just the ones with my girlfriend's name.

-I'm not trying to make it sound like the coup d'etat or the situation with the American military aren't really worrisome, though.

Okay, well, there's an obvious answer, but it's kind of stupid.

They're trying to kidnap someone named Yuka, but they only know her name, not what she looks like?

...So they're kidnapping everybody who might possibly be her?

I mean, it's not the solution to that problem anyone with a functioning brain would actually try. I mean, they'd have to be really stupid or pretty crazy, on top of whatever they'd be kidnapping someone for in the first place.

It's hard to figure out what's related and what's not. We have: demonic invasion, coup d'etat leading to military rule, tension with the American military leading to fears that they'll just nuke us all... It's a whole mess.

That is kind of strange. I mean, if whoever's kidnapping them is trying to find someone with that name, it's a really bad way to go about it.

Yeah. We're definitely going to be able to track them down if they're that obvious about it.

Which means that they're either really stupid or really confident for some reason or another. Hopefully it's the former.

Well, this started around the time of the demons invading. They're probably related somehow.

A psychopath who's got himself an obsession comes to mind. Scorned by a Yuka, his mother's name was Yuka and he has issues, there can be any number of unimportant specific scenarios, but it would all boil down to being insane.
