[The camera is shaky and the window small as Ellie has only her phone to record on but she's trying to set it up so that she can move back to speak.

As she does, she grabs her lower fore arm, the shirt ripped but whatever wound beneath it is wrapped up. Her breathing is a bit off but she's obviously trying to get it under control.]

So...so, everybody dies, right. Your time comes up and you're gone. [She sits down, finally able to look straight at the phone.] But before they do, there's stuff people wanna do, like visit beaches or...or, family, I guess.

If you were about to die, like, you know your in your last moments and everything's gonna go black soon, what would you do? Anything in the world.

[She looks down.] A last wish, I guess.

Before that, what the hell happened to you? You look like you got in a fight. Combined with what you're asking, I'm worried. A kid like you shouldn't want to know that.

[She tries to smile but it doesn't quiet form.] Got bit. It happens to a lot of kids so it's nothing special. [But it's not really that easy.] I still have a couple of days before I turn or...or a few hours, before somebody shoots me, if I go for help. I kinda wanna go out with a happy thought.

... I would want to be remembered, and not be forgotten. [She looks happy but there's a little tearing at her eyes.] I'm terminal so I know what it's like.

[She hadn't wanted other people to get sad about this. Ellie moves onto her knees, a little closer to the camera and nods, her lips forming a thin smile.]

You sound a lot like me, then. I didn't wanna be alone, I didn't want to end up alone. I guess it doesn't really matter when you're dead.

Do you? Have people that'll remember you, I mean?

[Oh, god - vivid flashbacks to Zombieville! Gah! Tsubomi does compose herself a bit before answering]

I... I don't really think I have a last wish. O-Other than seeing everyone else happy before I go.

Everybody's a lot of people. Do you really think everybody will ever be happy? Seems kinds of hard to believe.

[She looks down.] How about some people? Like, one special person?

[She nods.] Yeah. Soon. I, uh, got stupid. [She holds up her arm.] Got bit.

Don't worry, though, I won't turn. I know somebody. She'll help me. [Die as herself, which is the next best thing to living.]

[She wanted to see the fireballs in person. Damn it, she'd gotten too wistful in their talks.]

Hey, it's been fun, you know? Talking about all the cool stuff in your world. I wish I'd gotten to see it.

...Depends on the circumstances, doesn't it? [He almost sounds genuinely casual, but his voice is a little weak, and it has cracks in it.]

If you'd asked me a while ago, I think I'd have said...that I wanted to make something. Help people, you know? Now...

[Voice is probably better. In a way, she'd wanted to say good-bye to those she'd met so she'd made the post but it's hard to not crack down. It's scary.]

If it were me, I'd be doing everything I could to stay alive. But if your time's up...

Dunno. I guess I'd want to at least put a dent in trying to stop the problem so many of my friends gave their lives for. Save the people they tried to save. Enjoy every last minute I've got left.

Yeah, that's kind of why I made this. I really wanna know but...there's not a lot of people to care about where I'm from. The one I did...I already said bye.

[She'd made this video so she could say good-bye to the people she'd met and liked and so, she looks kind of relieved when she sees Reiko. She'd promised her a friend who wouldn't think she was crazy and that hadn't lasted long.]

Alone? [The smile fades.] You don't hafta be alone, you know. You have family.

Anything... well. I guess I'd want to spend it with my friends. There's this one spot we always used to meet at, so... I guess if I ever had the choice about it, I'd wanna go there.

One of those fast bastards bit me. I'll probably be one of them or dead soon. So, I kinda just wanted to say bye but it's nice hearing about this other stuff. [She tries to say it casually but there's the slightest edge in her voice.]

One of the infected got a nibble. That's pretty much a death sentence so I.. yeah, I kind of wanted to say bye and hear about happier stuff before I went.
