[video - canon update - episode 23 2/2]

About a day has passed since the previous video involving Setsuna, but it looks like no time has passed at all in the world itself. It resumes right where the previous one left of, with Cure Peach shaking Eas' body.

But this time the video continues. The plushie looking thing that only appeared in the background of the last video, takes the center stage this time. The crest on her forehead has started to glow. She floats up into the air, calls out and the crest glows even brighter.

A red light swiftly flies into the forest, straight into Eas. The light grows even brighter, to the point of engulfing the whole video.

The light stays like that for a little while. Eventually, though, it does fade. At the same time, the sun is finally breaking through the clouds.

Eas has vanished. Where her body lay before, there now stands a girl dressed in red. She stares at herself, both confused and amazed.

"I'm... a Pretty Cure?" She looks up. "Cure Passion!"

"Setsuna is the fourth...?"

"The fourth Precure!"

Cure Peach smiles widely. "Cure Passion!"

The video cuts off again, this time finished for real.

[OOC note: Red is Setsuna, pink is Love/Cure Peach, blue is Miki and yellow is Inori.

Setsuna will be responding this time, although it will icly be several hours later.]

I on the other hand, have plenty of time to watch all your teenage drama unfold. I have nothing else to do, after all.

If you want my advice, I would offer it, though you may not like it.

[She hesitates for a moment. Honestly, she's not sure if she wants to talk about this at all... But Ellen is the one person who may actually understand. So she nods.] ...alright, sure.

Neither does the community, apparently. I guess I shouldn't be surprised it broadcasted all of this.

...It's not like I have a lot to go on right now. So go ahead and give your advice, sure.

[Aaand we go to action as, wherever Setsuna is, Ellen's now with her. In her hands is her own Cure Module.]

[And as he's saying that, he's knocking back another enetron as he lets out a belch. Wow he must be TANKED now.]

[She stares for a moment and frowns.] ...are you okay? [That's... probably something people should be asking her, rather than the other way around.]

[Setsuna is at the outskirts of the forest she was at, sitting on the grass. When Ellen shows up, she stands up and looks at the Cure Module. She smiles, but it's more tired than actually happy.]

Ha... I was right, then. You really are a Precure. [Literally every girl from their world on the community. That's... yeah.] So how did you become one?

It is more entertaining than the Crescent Chronicle at least.

I have been where you are now. Rejected by my makers, my best efforts only earning their scorn and disdain. For years, I dwelt in shame and fear. Don't do that. Find some way to channel this, into whatever you choose. Normally, I would suggest some form of bloody handed vengence, but you may find other avenues open. Especially because you don't seem to have the same rage I did bottled up.

Believe me, I have no intention of going back there again if I can help it. Not after the wake up call I just got.

...I doubt that they'll just let me leave like this, though. I don't think anyone's ever left before. [Mostly because they're, y'know, all brainwashed. And they're not main characters, so they wouldn't have a cute mascot to save them from death.]

You know that I started out as Seiren, right? Well... We came close to winning. We'd gathered enough notes to sing the Melody of Sorrow, kidnapped Hummy and even had a way to stop Hibiki and Kanade from acting. But, Hummy... She wouldn't shut up. She told me... She told me she'd still be my friend even after we were all miserable. Something in me snapped and... I freed the Tones and Hummy freed herself. But, when she was being chased afterwards, I... Changed. I became a Precure. I rescued Hummy and...
