[Leila appears to be in a castle somewhere. It's probably not the palace in Ostia. She's apparently under inspection by three people - a rather creepy-looking cloaked man, a heavily built man with graying hair and a nasty scar on his face, and a buxom, dark-haired woman. Her face is impassive as she allows the three of them to inspect her. There doesn't seem to be any sound, but after a few moments of conferring with the other two, the large man steps forward and offers Leila a hand. He speaks a little more, but the community only records one sentence.]

[Some time later, in what looks like a different room in the same castle, Leila flicks the video on with her usual smile.]

Goodness, has it been that long already? I'm sorry for being out of contact; I was following up on something that happened last month during the body-swapping incident. It looks like there weren't any problems - thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Akiyama.

I've been better. Just cooling my heels and waiting to heal up. Some of the stuff people did for me really put me back on my feet, but I've been getting shot with a regular frequency lately.

You really need to see about avoiding that. Avoiding being shot at wouldn't be a bad idea, either.

You know, normally I put up with it when the community does things like this, but there's really no way to maintain my cover after this happened.

They're a group of assassins. They have a reputation for only taking contracts on targets who deserve it - corrupt officials, nobles who abuse their power, people like that.

Of course I'd have a certain level of objection, you're going around killing people if you are, but I'm not going to harass you about it.

I suppose considering my cover's already blown to an extent I may as well give you the whole story. But if any of the people in this video, or anyone whose surname is "Reed", joins the community, you did not hear this.

What I said about the Black Fang's choice in contracts used to be true. So their reputation would have it, anyway. But lately certain people have been assassinated in ways that suggest the Fang that were out of line with these methods. I've been sent to discover why.

I didn't mean it quite like that. I meant that I shouldn't be entirely surprised to find that we have dead people on the community in general.

Oh. You didn't realize that already? I've seen plenty of people who died while they had access find ways back. Like 11-12 keeps floating between worlds now, or before he lost access I think Norrington went and hung out on the Flying Dutchman. I'm sure there were others too.
