Hayate's getting worse, and anything I try only adds more to the Book. She wants to stay in an Earth hospital if possible, but she really does need the TSAB's help.

Damn, already? I was hoping I'd have more time, I'm not close enough yet...!

For now, she needs to be somewhere that a trained professional can take care of her secondary symptoms - the Book is making her sick, but the things it's causing to happen might be treatable until we can get this underway. As soon as I can get there, anything she needs that I can get her, she'll have, but until then, there's not a whole lot I can do.

Would it be safe for her in a hospital, then? Or is it risking too much collateral damage?

Safe for her? Certainly; she needs the support. Safe for everyone else? That's a toss-up, but until something happens, I'm going to err on the side of caution regarding Hayate. If the worst happens, the Book disappears and all of this was for nothing. I won't accept that.

Okay. I'll do my best to set up barriers inside the room. Maybe at the very least, we can keep it contained.

I sure hope so. Don't take unnecessary risks yet, though. Just... keep her safe, for now. Even before all this business, she's a friend, as are you. I don't put friends in the line of fire unless they've volunteered, and even then, I still don't like it.

Mm. Keep me apprised on the situation - if she worsens further, call me. I've got the engines just about redlined on this thing, but if I have to, I'll push them further, and damn the engineers. The safety of dimensional space takes precedence over repairs.
