He figured out where he ain't supposed to be leakin' body fluids. Half my guys can't figure that one out sometimes it seems like. He'll sit when he wants to, too. [It's hard to tell if he'd being sarcastic or really considers such tricks impressive in the way only its owner would.]

Somehow, if he ain't bein' stupid, ain't it kinda disappointing, though? I mean, ain't that what love is for most people, being stupid at each other until finally you decide to be stupid together or something?

Aa. Or if you grab his butt and push it down, he can usually get the hint and stay like that...

Anyway, it means you should look forward to somethin' stupid happening until the end, if you're with that guy. He's a "romantic." That means stupid, in other words.

He's not trained at all, is he?

I know he's stupid and romantic, but I don't think he'd do anything really regrettable. I don't even think he can. If he can't bring his family back to life, he definitely can't bring me back.

[ She shakes her head. ] He's stupid but I don't think he's that stupid. If he were going to try to argue he's already had about 50,000 opportunities to do it. Besides, one moment of real true contentment and I could slip away on accident. It's not like it hasn't happened before.

Speakin' of free, maybe it will be better for him, bein' free of you after a certain point. Much as he might like you, it's gotta wear on a guy, knowin' he's never really makin' you happy.
