It doesn't have to be something wrong, but you don't normally need miracles unless something bad is happening.

That would depend on how you define them. With the common one of "divine intervention", then yes; with "an unusual victory", even moreso.

Either way, I believe in making my own miracles happen, rather than waiting upon capricious or distant gods.

Gods, spirits, people, they're not so different when it comes to petitions and favors. At least in my experience.
