Well I'm back, and I've got some good progress reports. Ellen's finally adjusted to living in town with us. Also, we should be back to status quo as I look into derailing like a boss.

Time to figure out what I can change.

Why not? Before Yayoi lost connection her planning went right out the window when her timeline went all hooey.

Suit yourself. Planning getting thrown out is one thing; there isn't a foolproof plan in this or any other world. And it's not like I don't like making messes. But... gah. Do what you want.

How has it been there? I seem to recall you had one of the loud, annoying worlds.

Yeah, well, there's being prepared and then there's time being dumb.

Depends. Time is all weird, sometimes going fast, some slow. Depends on what's going on after all.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Time in your world doesn't make any sense... just a consequence of how our lives work, I guess. Not that I can talk, when I've been gone.

I was offline too, but then again, it doesn't seem like much time has passed at all.

Yeah. Special case, like I said. All this time, and no closer to answers... well, if we actually got answers without work, it wouldn't be any fun. Back to the drawing board, I guess.

Yeah. So how has it been after all this time?

Tiring. Long. Annoying. Basically, to save the world, I broke all magic in the world forever, and now I'm having to rework it from the ground up.

Oh lovely. Nothing like breaking the universe to finish something.

It was "break the universe" or "watch all life on Terca Lumireis perish". As it is, my entire hometown is gone. I'm living in the capital now, until we find a new mountain to carve Aspio into, if we even bother to do that.

Are you living with your friends then? Maybe in the palace with that Estelle girl?

N-no! Me, in the palace? That would be completely improper! [That flustered her, and she can't really react the way she wants to.]

I just have a little place in the common quarter. After everything, I have enough personal wealth to get out of the slums, at least. My house was destroyed when the citadel of purest evil came out of the ground from under it.

Yeah, it's kinda weird, I just logged in today and there it was on my screen. So I thought I'd read around. Glad to be back.

I think we're gonna need an update. What all do you want to change and what's wrong with how your life's supposed to go?

It's only been a few weeks since Ellen settled in. I heard something about a Healing Chest. I think we can probably start changing things after that happens because I'd rather not be in the dark than anything else. Ever since Ellen joined us, Hummy's learned how to troll. And every answer is a trolling answer.

It's not just the fairies. No one is telling us anything!

Well they keep withholding information, like where to go, what we need to do next, I had to look things up just to keep on top of things.

I'm sure they've got their reasons, but everything is being presented in an aggravating way.

I wish they'd just tell you. And you want to change fate just because of that?

I just want us more confident in our position. I'd rather not go in blind at all.
