[For Team One: The Old ShinRa Mansion]

Rufus is sitting in the basement, reading files- throwing a knife at an old picture of his father. He senses something coming towards the mansion, hoping the monsters would eventually come. Sighing, annoyed that he wouldn't get to have a ceremony. He starts running throughout the house to get to the back.

Sephiroth walks towards the mansion as if this matter were little more than a casual stroll, a cold smile on his lips. He pauses as he surveys the little town, bringing up fond memories, then waits patiently for the rest of the team to arrive.

Rufus steps back and makes a running leap to get to the top of the mansion. Smirking at his new Arrancar powers.

"GENERAL SEPHIROTH!" he calls from the top of the building, his black coat flapping in the breeze, "How nice to see that you got wrapped into this battle sir!</b"

"Hmph." Sephiroth turns to see where the voice is coming from and scowls as he spies the black-clad Rufus showing off on the roof. "Amateur."

Annoyed, his smirks into the bone part of his face, and calls, "TELL YOUR MOTHER I HAVE A GIFT FOR HER. ITS ON HER WAY TO MEET HER SOON!"

Sephiroth remains impassive, his only response a raised eyebrow. He picks up the Masamune and scratches at the dirt.

Ichigo wanders toward the source of ShinRA's spiritual pressure, an stern expression appearing across his face as he concentrates in pinpointing his exact location.

"He's close by, I'd say in that mansion over th--," his voice catches in his throat as he spots Sephiroth, his eyes narrowing.

Sephiroth looks up to see Ichigo and smiles, raising a black-gloved hand in a gesture of welcome.

"Glad you could join us, Ichigo."

*Alex stands beside Ichigo, having tagged along with the shinigami since their first meeting in Midgar. He regards Sephiroth with an icy stare.*

Sephiroth regards him with amusement.

"Yes?"

"...Sephiroth," he replies coldly, "What a...surprised to see you here."

His fingers reach back for his Zangetsu, readying himself for any sort of assault against him or his team.

"Oh, and it's the Arrancar," he directs a smirk to Rufus.

Colette follows behind Ichigo, twisting the ring Dante gave her around her finger. She looks up and spots Sephiroth as well.

"What is he doing here?"

"To have some "fun" with Rufus, I guess."

Rufus aimed from Anderson's head from the rooftop, checking once to see if the gun was done preparing. He pulled the trigger.

Sephiroth grips the Masamune tightly and makes his way inside the mansion, not bothering to wait for back-up or tell anyone where he's going. He's too arrogant to consider himself in need of any team, and even though he accepts that Ichigo must be the one to defeat Rufus, he fully intends to hack him up a little first.

Knowing full well that Ichigo is the only one that can kill him, he still tries to kill Sephiroth anyway. The nuisance has been a stain on Shinra for far too long. Hopefully he can get a LifeStream tipped bullet into the bastard before he fights Ichigo.

Sephiroth steps into the grand entrance hall of the mansion with a smile on his face. So what if Rufus has a new weapon aimed at Kaa-san? She's far too powerful to be taken out by a mere ShinRa toy; for now, he will concentrate on wearing down Rufus, thereby giving Ichigo and Team One some kind of advantage.

"I'm waiting for you, ShinRa. I already know that you're a coward, and goading you as such would merely be a waste of my time; you could, however, at least make things interesting."

"Oh? You can see me? Is the great Sephiroth able to communicate with the dead?" Rufus's voice called from the shadows.

Ein ran up to the house, breathless, Einherjar in hand. "I guess I should... follow someone else..." He searched around. He'd been seperated from Dante and he didn't know what this demon looked like...

*Colette looks over her shoulder to see Dante, she runs up to him*

Dante! I thought you were right behind us. *she glances behind her back* Sephiroth is here...I don't really understand what's going on...
