ShinRa are the biggest company on my planet, and they're a bunch of assholes. I fully intend to hunt down and destroy every last employee, least of all Rufus ShinRa.

Yeah, pretty much. I was supposed to die and become a part of the planet's spiritual energy, but somehow I came back as flesh and blood. I'm not sure why. Maybe the planet rejected me, or perhaps Onee-san sent me back for a reason. Either way, it's not so bad.

I do not have family; my father died when I was thirteen, so I am what you would call an orphan, I suppose.

Yeah, it's called the Lifestream. I should be anathema to the Lifestream - LONG story - but there we go. Onee-san is my big sister Aeris, she's so lovely.

Oh, right. Well, at least you don't have to put up with annoying parents that way.

My father was not what you would call an annoying parent. However, if he was, then you would be right.

Yeah, she died before I was even created, but she seems to still be around in some kind of spiritual form in the Lifestream. I love her a lot.

It's all right. Ten years is a long enough time to stop all mourning, I think. I'm perfectly capable on my own as it is now.

Yeah, I'm devoted to her. How could I not be? She gave me everything, and I never even got to see her, it's so sad.

No. I stopped mourning long ago. I suppose it takes a different period of time for everyone.
