This is a USO show, guys. Captain America is going to perform for you. It's got all that snazzy 40s flair. CAPTAIN AMERICA NEEDS YOU--- To buy bonds to help him sock ole' Hitler on the jaw! Each bond you buy is a bullet in the barrel of your best guy's gun.

There's a dancing showgirls in red, white, and blue (one for every state!), Steve acting super cheerful and getting the audience really into this (no no he doesn't sing. I'm sorry), dancing girls, Captain America punching Hitler, dancing girls, FIREWORKS, Captain America lifting motorcycle, and also dancing girls.

Well, at least you didn't have to sing along. [ because that must already be embarassing in a cheesy way enough in that costume and all. ]

Yuri said I was okay but I couldn't sing in front of an audience. It does make it less embarrassing not needing to.

Well, if Yuri of all people was saying that then there's nothing to worry about. [ because if anything would be bluntly honest about that.. ]

Thanks. Just acting cheerful and doing some lines isn't bad. I get into it okay. I'd probably have my voice crack and die of jitters with such a crowd if you added singing though.

[ give her a moment to consider this.. yeah, no. ] I'd probably have pretty much the same reaction at something like that, probably.

So I don't blame you. Although people say imagining the audience in their underwear is supposed to help against stage fright, but somehow I feel like it'd only make things worse.

I don't know why anyone ever suggests underwear since I completely agree with that making things worse.

Maybe it helps people like Battler onii-chan.. I'm sure he would be all energized over the idea of seeing girls in their underwear.

But there's also really old guys in the audience. Little strange there.

Okay, no, that's just gross. Well, it's a good thing you don't have to sing, since you seem to do fine otherwise. If you really do have stage fright, you hide it pretty well.

Well, if it's making people feel better, it's at least for a good cause. If you have to wear that [ ridiculous ] costume for it, it's just a small sacrifice, right?

Hopefully not recognizable as 'the man in that ridiculous costume'. Or is it in fashion back there?

I hope nobody's saying that. I think it's more of a symbolic than fashionable.
