It's 2:00am here on Isla Sorna and the sound of compys (Procompsognathus for those of you unfamiliar with dinosaur slang) chirping and scratching against the walls of the trailer prevents me from getting any sleep whatsoever. With my luck, I’m probably the only one awake and definitely the only one typing away at a laptop this late at night. But, hey. Anything to pass the time.
My name is Ian Malcolm and I’m amathematician chaotician. Really, I couldn’t think of a better community to join, especially one that thrives on such chaos. Mmm...emotions don't apply to chaos theory. A "heart" is too random. So many emotions, so many ups and downs. It's just too staggering.
As much as I hate to admit it, there are some systems chaos theory just can't predict. Hearts are one of them.

That was four years ago.
Now, I’m being forced to go to another fun dinosaur island to document the animals in their natural habitat. With the exception of my girlfriend and daughter, I’m surrounded by idiots in a trailer with no letal weapons to defend myself or my loved ones with.
Uh, there are some other minor little details, but I don't think you wanna hear about those.
