[accidental video]

--ind of virus?

[A feed opens up, directly in the middle of the man's conversation with himself, looking rather confused and showing mild signs of tension and worry.]

Looks like some BBS of sorts. What in the world did Haruhi install on this thing...

...Did she just find the ducks amusing or something? Is it their mascot? What...

[The video continues with him currently displeased, and confused. And the camera rolls...]
tenminutes: (That was a joke. Get it?)

Well you might not remember or it could've been you from the future or something weird like that. The community connects a bunch of different people from different worlds. For example, if you tried to find me in your world you'd never be able to- I'm in the afterlife. The only way you'd be able to see me was if I world-hopped over to you.
tenminutes: (This asshole stole my second coffee.)

Mhm. I'm dead. There are all kinds of people from different times here too, not just people from their own futures or pasts. There are people from the 1940's or the 1800's, the year 4,000, or from places that aren't even earth. Worldhopping is when you use a device or magic or some other means to jump from one world to the other. I've got one, so I can go wherever I want unless it's cut off-- and some places are cut off, usually when bad things are happening, like Twinkie's world.
tenminutes: (What do you mean personal space?)

I don't know what mysterious Organization you're talking about but the community's kind of weird. It's a little more than a computer program for talking to people from other world's too. No one explained this yet?

[ Uhg, again. She's really thinking they need to form a committee for the explanation of these things to people. A lot of new people she talks to haven't gotten the full story. ]

But yeah, worldhop-wise you would be able to come to my world. It's not like you'd die or anything if you came here though, it's just like a place for holding dead teenagers until we get over whatever happened to us in our lives. There's not a single person here who doesn't have some kind of regret. [ That she knows. ]
tenminutes: (I made HIM make me a sandwich.)

The summary of your situation is that you have access to the community and it's not going to go away, so enjoy what you can. The viruses are sometimes fun but for the most part are pains in the ass. Viruses are basically kind of like magic things that happen in really obnoxious ways, like making people hear your thoughts or see your future, or turning into cats for a day or something like that. The DDD is presently working on a method to counteract these viruses.

Yes, dead. Dead as dead can be. I'm in the afterlife, so I'm just dead, not a ghost or a zombie or some other unoriginal accusation you're about to start asking me about. I'm a dead teenager who lead an extremely unfair life and that's why I'm here, because this place is only for people who died young after never having a chance to have control over their life because somehow it got screwed up before we were able to stand on our own two feet.

Got everything? It's not really that complicated.
tenminutes: (Fuuu.. It was a really good joke okay?)

The Dangerous Duck Directive! A rebellion group designed to combat the viruses on the community, composed of various members of it.

Not those kinds of viruses, moron. Like I said, viruses here are more the weird things with superpowers, suddenly growing old, or an evil twin showing up for a couple of days. I already explained this, you know.
tenminutes: (It's brilliant!)

[personal profile] tenminutes 2012-09-13 04:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Plenty of ways! We're still working on some, but for a while having parties worked because the community loves parties. It seems like it got bored when we had too many in a row though.
tenminutes: (What do you mean you don't buy it?)

Do I look stupid enough to headbutt a computer screen? Why don't you try it? Moron.

Directive, not brigade! Also the leader of a Battlefront in my world. The members of the DDD though are 11-12, Doc Scratch, Greed, Kefka, Morrigan, Kano, Wanda, Steve, Jak, Gellert, Tidus, Battler, Ange, Utena, Karen, Rika, Kyousuke #1, Kyousuke #2, and Mr. Agent Coulson. Considerations for members right now are Peggy and Black Rock Shooter, but they don't know it yet. Open recruiting might have to happen soon, I haven't done that in a while.
tenminutes: (Sharing is caring.)

They're just names of people at the community! Mine's Yuri. Yuri Nakamura. Though some people call my Yurippe so you can call me that too. Japanese formalities are kind of useless after you're dead.

[ Yuri pauses for a second. She didn't catch his name, but Haruhi did tell her not to recruit certain people from the SOS Brigade. ] Mikuru's a girl's name and she said Koizumi had been here before. Yuki could be either and Kyon doesn't even sound like a real name, so that'd mean you're either Yuki or Kyon, right?
tenminutes: (Were you all watching me sleep?)

[personal profile] tenminutes 2012-09-15 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course. We were staking out who the both of us weren't allowed to recruit. Primary SOS Brigade members are off-limits for the DDD and SSS. Just like if she were still here, she wouldn't be allowed to recruit any SSS members.
tenminutes: (Because I really don't care.)

[personal profile] tenminutes 2012-09-16 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
What the hell kind of name is Kyon anyway?

[ Maybe she should come up with a nickname for him. Kyon-rin. Kyon-pi. Kyo-nii. That sounded way too weird and she was pretty sure she was older anyway. Kyoko, if Kyon was a girl. That would be too easy though. ]
tenminutes: (Yandere look like they have fun!)

Kyororin.

[ She's going with it. ]
