[ When the recording picks up Bernkastel’s voice, she sounds somewhat annoyed — though there’s a faint weariness beneath her words. ]

… How exhausting. We must have spent a hundred takes just on those couple of lines. What a waste of a day.

[ If Lambdadelta’s exhausted, her attitude doesn't show it. Her voice’s perky and full of energy.]

Ah, some of those takes were hilarious! They should go on a blooper reel. I’d totally buy it if they put that out.

[ Bernkastel makes a small sound, half-laugh, half-scoff. ]

Sure, yeah. Especially that guy’s, right...? They could be a blockbuster all on their own, titled “It’s All Useless.”

That’s right, that’s right! Smash hit! Did you know he’s coming down with ulcers from all that screaming and wailing?

… Seriously? [ Bernkastel sighs. ] There’s no hope for him. [ a slight rustling of cloth and some audio distortion, as if the microphone shifted a bit in place. ] Well, he knew what he was signing up for. I’m not going to tone it down and get out of character just to make things easier for him.

Maybe he’s method acting! Suffering just like his character!

Such dedication. It’s almost praiseworthy. … Though, that new girl could take a few pages out of his book, you know? Even if she’s not technically a main character, her role isn’t one that should be overshadowed.

Which new girl? They keep introducing new characters so fast I can barely keep up. Seriously, what’s with that? Why do they need such a complicated cast?

My “piece.” For a convoluted story like this one, it only makes sense that there’d be a lot of people, right...? Or, maybe Reina-san [ That mysterious writer who only goes by the pseudonym “07”! ] just wrote in someone as outrageous as her to keep the viewers glued to the screen, now that the protagonist’s main rival is gone.

The character really does have a lot going for her in that department. As for the actor, she’s not bad for a newbie, either. I’ll give her that. But she could stand to ham it up a little more, like that blonde. And it’s pretty obvious she worships you as her senior. Ahh, I want such a devoted junior!

[ Bernkastel giggles. ]

It’s a little annoying at times... but, I don’t mind it as long as it improves her acting. You’ll find one too someday, I’m sure. Why don’t you pick one of those fans who keep writing you weekly emails...?

Didn’t you know, they’re totally different skillsets! Being a junior’s not the same as being a fan. It’s really hard to find someone really promising. But of course, I do have high standards for that. Even that blonde’s a bit of a letdown, though I did have hopes for her.

… Speaking of her, I hope she’s not slacking off. The way the story’s developing, it looks like her character’s going to make a dramatic comeback soon or something. Ah, it’s really bothersome how we’re not allowed to see the entire script at once...

Don’t you know? She’s always goofing off! If she’d take her job more seriously, she’d do waaaaaay better. She has such promise, too, it’s so disappointing. But if her character does make a comeback, I’m sure it’ll be an ace performance!

Hmm, we’ll see. We’re still not near the end, so it’s possible. [ A pause, during which the recording picks up the sound of pages being flipped. ] … I won’t hold my breath, since I’ll need it for this confrontational scene coming up...

[ After a few moments, she laughs. ]

Oh, how lucky. It seems it won’t be difficult at all. [ Paper rustles. ] Here, take a look at this.

[ Lambdadelta laughs as well. ]

Ahaha, your poor junior, having such mean words said to her by her adored senior! Well, she’ll just have to take it, after all, it’s just the parts we’re playing. Isn’t that right, duckies? Did you enjoy the show? Well, did you?

Huh? What are you talking about, all of a sudden...?

Oh, look, we’ve had another accidental broadcast.

[ There’s several moments of silence before Bernkastel exhales in a sharp huff. ]

… Not again. Why did you sign us up for it anyway? A shady site like that —

[ The recording cuts off there. ]

[ To say he was surprised would be an understatement...he definitely recognized the two voices here but...was that really them? They sounded bit more...normal than usual...

Then again, the past few posts on the community have been a little weird...but they all shared one thing in common. They talked about...acting.

Huh. Must be a new virus. Yet another one he's escaped. ]

The show does sound pretty interesting, I'll give you guys that much.

[ "Bernkastel," at least, even looks normal when she appears on her iPhone's camera, wearing casual hang-out clothes instead of that gothic lolita getup. She tilts her head when she sees Yuri... but there's no surprise or curiosity in her voice, as there would be if she didn't recognize him. ]

Some people find it hard to follow. [ she says it like a throw-away observation, a fact, without scorn or judgment. ] Are you going to start watching too? Even now, it's not too late to catch up.

Hmm. Maybe. I don't know how good I am with confusing stories, but it's worth a shot. [ Not that he could watch it, anyway. Looked like she wasn't surprised by him either. But she definitely wasn't the witch he was used to talking to. Definitely a virus. ]

We're in the middle of the sixth story arc, with [ INSERT NUMBER HERE ] episodes already filmed and broadcast. Would you have stayed for so long if you didn't like it...?
