Indeed, anything to do with a maintaining a suitable budget for all is quite the task. I take it there were little quarrels over to what you designated each amount of resources?

What resources? I said it was a student council budget, not some situation where we'd actually have funds available.

A student council that has no funds? How do you even support the council itself?

With difficulty. Though I should clarify that we weren't devoid of funds, merely far closer than we needed to be.

And school councils... what exactly are their accomplishments?

It depends on the council. The one under my leadership resolved disputes, allocated what funds were supplied by the school, organized special events for the students, developed programs to help with performance and discipline, and generally provided whatever forms of assistance were requested. Some councils, on the other hand, accomplish nothing but promoting their members.

My, that sounds like much work and effort for something that is only on a secondary school level.
