Little book, people often use you to ask for help, correct?

I need some advice. In my land - my 'world' as you would call it - I live in a library.

At night, if I leave the lights on, people come and bang on the windows of the room I sleep in, yelling at me to give them books. When I turn the lights off they disappear, but they come back if I have to turn the light back on for any reason.

Do you have any advice on how I could get them to stop? Its frightening to have people look at me like that. It makes me feel ugly and dissected, and knowing that they're never really gone, only dissuaded for a while, is making it difficult to sleep.

Even if I could find such a thing in the Library, that wouldn't make them go away permanently.

Well yeah, but it'd help you until you find something actually useful. Since I don't actually condone mass murder, I'm not coming up with better options yet.

Have you considered getting a "Closed" sign?

There is a Closed sign for the library door, but that doesn't stop them hassling me at night.

Yes, I live in a library. I didn't know anyone else did.

I think it would be nice if I could read any of the books.

No, I can read. But the books in the library are magic, and can only be read by the proper people. If anyone else opens them, they only see horrible images.

[Pinkie can't imagine the books in Twilight's library acting that way! And if they did, she's sure her friend would give them a good talking to!]

It is unfortunate, yes. And I do wish they were asleep. It would make getting my own rest much easier.

Police? I've never seen any officers come into the library, and there are no telephones out.

Why would I want to? There's people like that out there.

Not everywhere. You can find a place where people act a little more civilized.
