Mother's Day is coming up soon, isn't it?
((Assume all the responses come from an unrelated account "thegoldenrule". Also, if needed, this is backdated before any Umineko update madness that may or may not be happening soon.))

[Thinking of this holiday makes Bazett remember her own parents. Yet another holiday when she will have nothing to do with them. She had left home to find a place in the Association, and she would not return until she could prove that her family's practice of remaining isolated from magi society was wrong.]
[It makes her feel just a little lonely.]
Re: text
[Ah, she wishes... George had been dead for ten years and her adopted daughter made Mother's Day a living hell for those same years. Sometimes it's better to pretend, to lie.
It'd be bad for her cruel reputation to be marred by the fact that she actually wants something nice from Ange. Even if she knows the reason it won't happen is her own fault. It's a complicated feeling.]

[since with this family, anything related like mother's day... well, it just makes them think about their family, how they're all dead. especially battler, since he knows the truth and all.]

[no, actually, Evatrice was thinking about Ange and how Mother's Day the last ten years have been utter hell...and how nice it would be just to have a day with no arguing with her. but like that'd ever happen, it's easier just to lie about it even to Battler.]

[it was valid, he was her son after all.]
He probably would have gotten you really amazing presents, right? My mom died when I was young so... [no she didn't, she's Kyrie but he's still keeping that under wraps.] ..I haven't given a Mother's Day gift in forever.

He often went all out on Mother's Day. [Respectful pause here.] It's a rather touchy subject for our family, isn't it.

[ at least thinking about it now means she won't wake up angry on the day and snap at all of her friends. maybe she should make plans. try to distract herself. she doesn't want to even think about her mother so soon after those viruses. ]

not here;
Mother's Day. Even if this really is an Eva from some earlier time, even so, even so.. what right does she have to talk about that?! She still remembers every little thing from her youth, she remembers that one time when she had made a drawing for her mother for Mother's Day despite her death - her real mother - and they got into an argument over that too, and..
Shut up..
She doesn't even care about keeping up pretenses or whatever. She can't reply to this, there's no way! The more she thinks about it, the more it annoys her either way, and she ends up throwing her book against the wall with a loud smack, watching it close off the community as it falls on the ground. ]
also not here but a reaction to the lack of Ange;
She remembers that argument... How could she not? Ange had a gift for a woman who never cared, who never would come back, but not a single kind word for her. It didn't have to be a "happy Mother's Day". Just something. Some recognition. A little respect. Would it have killed Ange to have acknowledged the woman who took her instead of throwing her to the wolves? So she lost her temper. She had managed to keep herself from going too far. It was shameful that a child made her lose her temper.
Maybe this would draw her out. Even if all they would do is argue--it's something of a tradition, isn't it?
So Eva-Beatrice waits. It soon becomes clear Ange isn't coming. A fire of anger is starting to burn. How dare she?! She does something for that girl's own good and she ignores it!
That girl. She's not going to let this stand. Even if it's just bitter words or a yelling match, she'll get something from this ungrateful child. So she slams the book shut. If a direct challenge was unheeded then she'll just find other ways to contact her. No need for a disguise.]
