[The video opens up to someone in a red cloak with a high collar from behind, messing about with something on Leila's bed. A song* is playing, presumably from Leila's computer.

After a moment, the figure turns around and proves to be Leila, humming along to the song.]

She's a double-dealing diva, with a taste for - oh, hello community.

[She comes over and turns the music off, and slips out of the cloak. It seems to have been cut for someone with wider shoulders than her; in fact she's wearing her normal yellow one underneath it. What was on the bed proves to be a bag - to all appearances, she's packing for a trip. Though why that includes a pair of what are very plainly daggers meant for combat...]

Hmm... well, since the community obviously thinks I need to post, we may as well have another of those inane question posts. I'd apologize, but I'm not particularly sorry. How do you pack for a trip?

And has anybody besides me managed to become a fan of entertainment from another world since joining the community?

Heh, well, of course. Though barring serious trouble I should be able to make it between inns within a day and I won't need too much food.

Apparently. I think it's right - at least, I can't ever recall a virus coinciding with a major party.

Actually, there was one instance where it did. The community took it into its... head, I suppose? To help a Halloween party along by turning people into their costumes.

I'm pretty much hooked on the Pretty Cure soundtrack from day one really. Engaging in a little bit of self-metaing or something like that, because I listen to them all the time.

Oh? Interesting. I was half-tempted to ask something about stumbling across people who were fictional in your world, but I think the very best option for that is still likely to end with hurt feelings. The worse ones tending to lead to existential crises.

Well to be fair, I also watch a lot of Toei productions but none of them seem to line up with the ones that are usually spoken about in my world. My friends from my world watch them if they can, but I've never met Sun Man unless it was a giveaway.

No doubt, that would be bad, an existential crisis. It could be terrible. [Like Nobuo in a few months.]

Toei? [A brief pause, with a bit of keyboard tapping.] Oh. Them. Hm, I suppose it's not that strange that they might have come up with different shows in different worlds.

Though I suppose that does raise the possibility that you might meet Sun Man someday after all.

Exactly. Depending on how it's phrased, grasping the difference between fiction portraying you and you yourself being fictional can be tough, even if genuinely believing the latter seems rather strange.

Yeah, we've got a lot of neat shows from Toei, but in a few worlds it seems to be a constant.

Mm. From what certain people have said, there seem to be a lot of worlds with certain constants. Like the Kamen Rider worlds. Never mind how many worlds seem to have roughly the same geography - it's amazing how many Earths there seem to be, sometimes.

There's an old theory that for every choice made, there's another world created. I don't know how true that is, but it would go towards explaining why there's so many Earths.

Seems a bit strange that we don't run into many worlds that are even more similar, then. Or why it only really seems to be Earth that crops up so often. I suppose it's just an odd bias of the community.

Maybe it's easier to connect to Earth than other worlds?

All you need is the bare essentials if you wanna go somewhere. Things like that will help get you by.

Hm, I suppose you're right. Traveling light does tend to make things easier, doesn't it?

It certainly is interesting. Although the idea of monsters that travel between worlds is... frightening.

Yeah, it does! Especially if you're walking on foot. I end up doing that a lot.

I've been hearing about that too. Sounds like a real pain for those guys to clean up their messes.

The things like the ones that make hearts spontaneously combust seem like a bit more than a 'pain' to me. [Yeah, Leila took Kaitou pretty seriously on those.]

Kaitou mentioned something called Orphanochs that could do that. I don't know to what extent he might have been pulling my leg, but if he was it wasn't exactly a nice joke.
