There is a matter which I have found myself considering more and more often in recent days, though I can not say I know what precisely began such contemplation. The community's nature in particular complicates the idea itself, which does not help matters if one were to try coming to a conclusion of some kind. What it can be narrowed down to at its core is, I think, a mere question of five words.

Do you believe in fate?

I'm afraid I don't know anything of modern religion. Is that a common belief?

Of course you gotta believe in fate when you believe in God! It means there's something greater than you steering you and what happens to you.. why else would people pray to him?

I would not know for certain. Where I come from, gods could ruin you as easily as they could save you.

"Gods"? What, you guys have more than one?

I would assume few if any of them still live to this day, but yes.

That's now how God works at all! He's not just something that can die, that whole idea is ridiculous! He's always there.

Oh, I wouldn't doubt such a thing must surely vary between locations and eras. Forgive me, I was speaking only of that which I know firsthand.

I've heard of some weird stuff in other worlds which can access this place, but that's gotta be the weirdest of them all. What kinda world do you live in either way?

For me it's less a matter of where and more of 'when'. I originate from a time long before most others I have seen on this community.

How long ago is it then? Not like the whole idea of just one god is new or whatever.. I think.

Let's see...roughly two thousand years? Possibly a few more centuries than that, I'm not sure.

Then how can you even live that far back? I thought all you guys lived in caves for sure!
