[text; attempted (and utterly failed) anon]
There is a matter which I have found myself considering more and more often in recent days, though I can not say I know what precisely began such contemplation. The community's nature in particular complicates the idea itself, which does not help matters if one were to try coming to a conclusion of some kind. What it can be narrowed down to at its core is, I think, a mere question of five words.
Do you believe in fate?
Do you believe in fate?

That is what I believe.

Do you believe it possible for one to lead themselves into an inescapable situation with but one conclusion?

What happens if hypothetically, any choice in a given situation is unthinkable. Is it then a hopeless situation where 'choice' itself is practically an illusion?

No. I held the ability of precognition prior to accessing the Community. The futures I saw could be changed.

it is kind of inevitable
but at the same time
i always thought i understood it and could use it to my advantage. but i couldnt really because there was more than i could see!
so maybe it is better not to know your fate
so then you can make it yourself!

"Fate" is just a way for idiots to run away from reality.

So I take it you subscribe to the latter explanation.

I'd rather not believe in fate...because of the implications. I'm trying to imagine some grand universal orderer out there in the cosmos moving us around like a bunch of pawns. I don't like it...and I like to think I can choose.
