Hey.. Let's say you have a rowdy ghost or spirit or demon or something like that bothering people for no good reason. What would you do to stop it?

The first thing to do is to figure out why it's hurting people. It could be cursed itself, or its home could have been destroyed- there are plenty of situations like that. In those cases, you remove the curse for it, or do what you can to restore its home or make it a new one.

If it's hurting others because it just likes to, or can't be persuaded to stop, then the options are to capture or exorcise it.

What would you do in that situation, then? Would you seal it away or just kill it?

To be honest, my skills aren't really the best for sealing, so I try to let others take care of situations where that's a likely solution. I'm more likely to be called in when an ayakashi is actively hurting or threatening others and isn't likely to be contained.

That's in my world, though. If I were in a number of the worlds on the community I would try sealing it first, since I probably wouldn't really know what was going on or how intelligent the spirit really is.

[He's gotten the feeling before that Natsume doesn't like exorcists, and after that most recent post he wouldn't blame either Natsume for hating all of them. But while he will do his best to seem trustworthy, he's going to stick with honesty as ultimately the best policy with Natsumes.]

So you would kill an ayakashi if it's on your world.

[Typical exorcist. Reiko would damn every exorcist she found but Takashi...he said that some could be trusted, if you were careful around them. So she holds her tongue for now.]
