I'm not too sure what to think. These are apparently the Sentai after the Kyoryugers that I've read up on. Any thoughts on them?

Apparently they're a Train-Based series called Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger.



I've even gotten stuff on their gear and mecha too.











The suits look very showa to me. Like they were lifted from a bit of Bioman actually. But I want to know what the other actual Sentai and Riders think about this new addition to their ranks. And, well everyone else too.

Trains. Really. They said they're going to be using electronic passes and also possess a ability called a Connection Transformation which allows changing to other colors in the set.

It's got to be important since it seems to be a big feature in the preview. Kind of nice to see who's going to be smashing up the town in a couple of years.

Well yeah, but it gets repaired. Usually.

I think this is a theme more along the line of rail connections like Den-O actually. Since they're using Tickets to transform.

Mmmm... Magi Shine I think. He used a punch card type to transform.

This some kinda running thing, then? Every few years, Sentai recycle powers while Riders get...giant fruits on their heads?

I think so. I mean, Sentai have been going through a whole lot of themes, and there's always some cycling. I mean, the team after us was supposed to have Card Suites and there was already a Card-suite team previously, as well as Kamen Rider Blade's team and JAKQ.

Why not? It would be awesome. And we could fight giant sized enemies on a scale-to-scale basis!

It should be like those ones you find in anime, where you just shrink it down to a figurine so you can keep them around in a compact state.

It's a toy catalog but it also shows off next years sentai. Well, two years away for me actually. This is 2014's team, Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger.

A taskforce team of heroes, color coded by costume and personality.

Oh, I guess I heard about something like that once a long time ago. It must be at least 400 years since we had anything like that in my world.
