Welcome, friends! I knew you'd be preparing to fight me, so I wrote you a speech!

[Here's Kefka, but something's weird about him. Maybe it's how his outfit is twice as complicated as usual, with extra ruffles and puffs of cloth and all that everywhere. Maybe it's how he's got his wings out, too; that's weird. His throne room seems to be floating in a sea of stars and night.]

I've acquired the ultimate power! You're all nothing but fleas to me now. You should embrace your destruction: it is the fate of all things. No sailor scout shenanigans can change that.

[He sighs before going on to ask the actual question:]

Do you really have to destroy everything? Why?

Well, if everyone's going to die anyway, why not get it over with? Less pain and less mess for everyone!

Well, you know... People might want to get things done before they die.

But once they're dead, they don't have to worry about it!

... Maybe. But... [There has got to be some kind of hole in that logic...]

But what? I'm listening.

... It doesn't sound quite right. That's all.

You know that if you find a good reason why it's bad, I'll listen and stop, right?

I know you will! I'm working on it.

And then I'll give you the world, if you want. We have plenty of time.

I thought you were going to destroy it.

If you have a reason not to destroy it, it'd be pretty silly to destroy it, right?

...although I still will if that's alright because it bugs me.

And that's your reason to destroy it?
