This is to save someone, not because I want to play a video game, promise.

Can you make my avatar look just like me? I don't know what Kirito looks like in real life [ he didn't explain to her about the whole actual-appearance thing ] but I don't want to end up with huge knockers or anything weird like that. I need my body to be my body.

Good. So what other kinds of things can you do?

Mostly design and build giant robots, but I don't know how much of that you're gonna need.

I won't complain if you build me a giant robot, but I don't have any money so you probably won't do it free of charge.

Yeah, the parts don't come cheap, especially the crystals for the reinforced glass.

Crystals?

Yeah, the glass requires a certain amount of minerals to work with the display and to reinforce it against another giant robot smacking it in the face, and there's a small amount of a kind of crystal involved in making it.

Bullet proof glass wouldn't work?

Not strong enough. Think of a giant robot fist. Imagine it punching through a sheet of bulletproof glass. Doesn't do much. In order to get the right durability and still be even feasible to install, you've got to use a special blend of super-tough materials.

Hey, cut us some slack. We've figured out artificial intelligence, created giant robots, almost perfected teleportation, and switched all of Japan over to a completely clean energy source. We're working on it!

I'm 40 27, but my world's been doing this for 30 years. Seriously, you try and take a dance-themed superhero team seriously.

Well, that'd be pretty easy for me. I used to know a guy who only spoke in lyrics and danced constantly. People are how they are.

Yeah, and my partner is a robot with an annoying tendency to pop up in front of me.

Yeah, human-sized robot called a Buddyroid.

You need to rename him, that just sounds lame. Go with "Mega Ultrabot 5000: Super Phoenix Edition" or something at least!
